When I change a password or type a password into a site that I have not used before, LastPass pops up a window asking if I would like to save the site/update the password. For the last two weeks, when I select 'Add,' the window attempts to make the save for a long period of time. I then receive the message 'Sorry, this request is taking longer than normal.' The app then lets me try again, but I receive the same result.
I use the Firefox LastPass extension. I have checked for updates and did not find any. This has been going on for a couple weeks, and caused me to have to reset my password again when I lost a randomly generated secure password via this process. How can I fix so that I can keep using LastPass as my password manager? Having to open a new tab to manually add each new site/password is very inconvenient.
Multiple Logins. If you have multiple logins for the same site, add the additional sites by entering your username and password, clicking on the field icon and then click the add site icon. This will allow you to save the site: Once you have multiple saved logins for a site, you will see the field icons show the number of matching sites found. The easiest and best way to add new sites to LastPass is to go to the site and enter your credentials as you normally would. Click log in or sign in. In the top right of your browser, next to the LastPass icon, LastPass will prompt you to add this site. You can choose “Add” or hover over the item to see the “More” menu.

There’s a new API in iOS 12 that lets third-party providers like LastPass to directly hook into iOS 12’s password autofill system. You’ll be able to fill in the username and password for any site where you have stored the credentials. One important thing to note is that this feature is only for password autofill. If you’re manually logging in to a new site, iOS won’t prompt you to save the details to LastPass (like it does when you’re using iCloud Keychain). In iOS 12, you can use up to two password managers at the same time.

Enable Third-Party Password Managers to Work with iOS 12’s Autofill Feature
First, you’ll need to make sure that the password manager of your choice supports the Autofill feature. LastPass and 1Password have already been updated to work with iOS 12’s Autofill feature.
Step 1: Open Settings -> Accounts & Passwords -> AutoFill Passwords and then enable the feature.
Step 2: Tap on the LastPass option below to enable it (or the password manager you’re using). LastPass recommends that you disable iCloud Keychain for the best experience, but you don’t have to do that.
Now, LastPass’s AutoFill integration is active.
Open the LastPass app, log in with your credentials and make sure all your logins are updated. If you don’t find any logins in there, you can manually add them by tapping the + button.
How to Autofill Passwords Using LastPass or 1Password
Now, let’s see the autofill feature in action.
Step 1: Open an app or website where you already have the login details saved in LastPass (or the password manager you’ve enabled from Settings).
Step 2: Tap on the Username field and you should see an auto suggestion for the website above the keyboard or instead of it.
Step 3: If you don’t see a suggestion, you can tap on the little key icon. This will open LastPass with a list of all saved logins. You can select a login from here and it will be auto-filled in the page.
