Diablo umax
We prospected over some old (1890s ) quartz tailings, my partner was usinga ML 4500, I had the Tesoro Diablo Umax. Results were I got faint signalsin the quartz boulders that the 4500 did not, end result was enough gold tobuy a new 4x4!! Tesoro you should make this super detector again.Jack

Tesoro Diablo Umax
This detector has allowed me to go where other VLF machines can't, verymineralized ground.It has found gold nuggets and specimens in areas that have been hit hardwith pulse induction detectors for years.
Have been able to use it balanced for hot rocks on ground that will sendother units crazy!
It's so stable and easy to use even when EMI is stopping those expensivegold machines in their tracks.
Would I sell it ? NEVER :)
If you ever get the rare chance to buy one, Grab it quick.

Here's a machine that's great on gold nuggets, can tell hot rocks from goodsignals, is a killer on coins & rings (DEEP), is very light weight and easyto use, is backed by Tesoro's awesome warranty even if purchased used, hasgood extra coil options, and pinpoints targets so well you don't even needa pinpointer!Overall Rating

Diablo lightweight power house
Diablo Umax is a very simple yet impressive gold hunting machine. Superlight weight and simple to setup and use. Considering it's small size Icouldn't believe the abilities of the detector to find gold. It has apretty rough audio response compared to other detectors. However, once youlearn the audio sounds you can determine what hot rocks sound like and idsome iron trash. I found a few half gram nuggets in a drywasher pile atimpressive depth. With the stock 10' coil it is hot on small nuggets. Iwish I would have kept it, if you find one for sale for good price buy it.Five Stars for sure.Overall Rating

To reset the base, you need to remove the batteries and then reinsert. Can I use my remote for my digital weather thermometer in below zero temperatures?Yes, you can if you do two things:Use lithium batteries and attach the additional cord that is included with your remote. If possible, bring the remote thermometer next to the base and hit the transmit button to set up the wireless connection again.If this does not work, you may have to reset both the remote and the base thermometer. That will help the thermometer read the lower temperatures. This will also clear out the base unit for time, calendar, etc., if your product has these features.If the dashes are frequent, you may need to relocate your remote closer to the base, and make sure there are no metal obstructions that can hinder the radio frequency. Someone needs to develop a detector with the tesoro
Discriminator, khz frequency dial from a range of 12 to 60khz,
With auto or manual ground tracking with coil
pump over hot tock eliminator and iron volume with
6x4 & 10x6 dd coil packs and watch them fly out for
$1000.
Its not hard to do but requires new thinking and i think
the next wave of these Detectors will come from someone
that has no detector Experience but an electronics wiz based
in europe somewhere.
